at The Restaurant at La Casa

Each morning, our Chef visits Royal Isabela's River Farm and Gatehouse Garden to see what the good earth has given us. Only then does he plan the day's menu at the Restaurant at La Casa, Royal Isabela's restaurant. As advocates of both slow food and locavore movements, we combine classic European cooking techniques with Puerto Rican ingredients to create the Restaurant's signature farm-to-table cuisine. The menu spotlights Royal Isabela's very own vegetables, herbs and fruits, as well as the bounty from local fishermen, cheesemakers and small family farms. Our philosophy is simple: real food, cooked with real heat.

The intimately sized restaurant features eight tables inside and more outside on the terrace overlooking the Atlantic and the Golf Links. From the terracotta roof made from century-old handmade tiles to wrought-iron chandeliers, Oriental rugs and mahogany tables, La Casa exudes Spanish Colonial charm. The airy space encourages a leisurely dining experience, beginning with a stop at the bar facing a brick oven (where addictive wood-fired pizzas are made to order) to chat over the day's offerings.
