Our Story The Land

The Land

Royal Isabela is blessed with a landscape rich in diversity, ranging from craggy cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to plantain trees growing along the Guajataca River. Our private golf community encompasses 426 acres of Puerto Rico's most beautiful and storied land. We are committed to protecting this natural legacy for future generations. Conservation efforts at Royal Isabela include:

  • Large tracts of green space and beach acreage set aside for the enjoyment of our Members and Guests
  • Adherence to Dark Sky Initiative guidelines
  • Solar farm to support energy conservation; solar panels used extensively
  • Rainwater/gray water used for irrigation
  • Most plants grown in nursery; reintroduction of indigenous plants to landscaping
  • Organic farm to support farm-to-table initiative in restaurant
