The Estate
Every event at Royal Isabela draws from the same source: 1,800 acres of cliffside coastline, working farmland, and native forest, largely undeveloped by design. Ceremonies happen along the golf course or hidden in a century-old train tunnel. Receptions unfold on terraces built from the property's original stone structures. Meals are grown, caught, or raised within sight of where they're served.
Nothing here is staged to look natural. It already is.
Conservation & Privacy
Some spaces on the property are protected and unavailable for events—including the beach, which falls under conservation requirements tied to the El Pastillo Conservation Trust. This isn't a limitation so much as a reflection of what the estate is for: 1,800 acres held largely as it was found, with only a fraction developed for guests. Your event team can walk you through which spaces are available for your occasion and why.
Getting Here
Royal Isabela is closer than it feels. Direct flights of about four hours connect the East Coast to Puerto Rico, and the estate sits minutes from a private airstrip, with a helipad on property for those who want to skip the drive entirely. From San Juan, it’s about an hour and a half; from Dorado, just over an hour.
