We have many beautiful trails and hikes to choose from. You can hike through the mesmerizing beauty of Royal Isabela on a 5-mile trail revealing breathtaking
views of the Atlantic Ocean and the North coast limestone formation. The trail has a moderatedifficulty level, with a gentle slope leading down to El Pastillo,
our conservation trust land where secondary forest and pasture land blend seamlessly with the ocean and is home to many species, including our local butterfly
species, the Atlantea Tulita. Once at sea level we can either hike by the white beach sands or choose the green trail of the coastal star grass.
This trek will take us back in time as we reconnect with the old train trail that leads to the Guajataca tunnel.
You could choose to hike in just the shade of the river jungle which is a more level hike rich with history, flora and fauna.
This experience can be tailored for beginners or more advanced hikers, with a shorter 2-mile route extending to a possible 5-mile excursion.
